Tourism declined in Peru during the years of Shining Path terrorism, but since the early 2000s things have been relatively safe for tourists, and the country has experienced a boom, both in tourism and in business.It&#039;s been a pleasure seeing so many foreigners discover the wonders of this very ancient land.</description>
