So newworldreview what do you think about Ferran Adriá?
I have mixed feelings, after working at a restaurant he was consulting in 1998 in Barcelona (called Talaia Mar, with the great Chef Marc Singla) I find part that what he does is amazing but have doubts about the depth of his concept.
All the best,
Martin
Hey Martin. I’ve never eaten at El Bulli, so I can’t say for sure. I’ve seen his recipes though and they sound incredibly complex. I’m sure there’s a lot of hype to go along with the food, but it has to come from somewhere.
By the way, Hernan Gipponi made my list of favorite meals this past year (http://newworldreview.com/?p=2468). Full review still to come.
