By Bus There isn’t a central bus terminal in Ayacucho, however, most companies offices are confined to a few blocks in the north of town. Civa – Caceres 1242, Tel: 31-1348 and Cruz del Sur – Caceres 1264, Tel: 62-31-2813 both go to Lima (575 km, 9 hours, $10), via Pisco (6 hours) and Ica (6 hours) once each day, usually in the evening. Trans Molino – 9 de Diciembre 458, Tel: 62-31-2984. Passes Ayacucho en route from Lima to Cuzco (24 hours, $13-16) in the evening and stops in Andahuaylas (261 km, 10 hours). It also goes to Lima five times each day and also to Huancavelica (6 hours, $7) and Huancayo (10 hours, $7-8). Los Chancas – Caceres 150, Tel: 62-81-2391 and Expreso Wari – Manco Capac 451, Tel: 62-32-6323 both go to Andahuaylas and Cuzco ($14, 24 hours).
